HISTORY OF NOLLER CHAROLAIS
The Noller Charolais Stud was established in 2004 and is situated 40km south-west of Wandoan, Queensland at Delga Park. Delga Park comprises of 4750 acres, consists of undulating bottle tree, brigalow and belah country with semi-established pastures.
Prior to 2004, Delga Park was the base for the Gunnadoo Charolais Stud breeding program. Inevitably in 2004, the proprietors of the Gunnadoo Stud went their own ways and a portion of the Gunnadoo herd was kept at Delga Park to form the Noller Charolais Stud.
Gunnadoo Stud was initiated in 1972 using imported French semen over a selection of superior Shorthorn, Angus, Braham and Hereford females. Over the years Gunnadoo grew to become a leader in Charolais breeding and genetics, proven both in the show ring and on the dinner plate.
The Noller Charolais Stud is owned and operated by Jeff & Lynn Noller, with a herd size of 300 breeders. Throughout the time of Gunnadoo and continuing with Noller Charolais, our breeding objectives of producing high performance, low maintenance Charolais cattle that are fertile with a pronunciation on the demands of the beef industry remain the same.
